2C:7-17. Severability.

The
provisions of this act shall be deemed to be severable, and if any
phrase, clause, sentence, word or provision of this act is declared to
be unconstitutional, invalid or inoperative in whole or in part, or the
applicability thereof to any person is held invalid, by a court of
competent jurisdiction, the remainder of this act shall not thereby be
deemed to be unconstitutional, invalid or inoperative and, to the extent
it is not declared unconstitutional, invalid or inoperative, shall be
effectuated and enforced.
