Judgment of Conviction

Judgment of Conviction
Once a sentence is pronounced, a judgment of
conviction is prepared and signed by the judge.
This document is the official court record of the
sentence. It contains the crimes charged, the
crimes for which the defendant was convicted, and
the terms of the sentence. It also contains the
judge's statement of reasons for sentence.
